Across Colliers Wood, Veolia are responsible for litter within the streets and urban areas and idverde are responsible for litter in our parks and green spaces. However, litter continues to be a big problem in the area and so the Parks & Greenspaces Friends group collect litter on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month in Wandle Park. Meet at 9am at Baltic Close entrance to Wandle Park (next to Charles Holden pub). Join the WhatsApp Group for all information.
The Green Party also organise a litter pick on the last Sunday of each month at 11am meeting on the Wandle Path that runs alongside Sainsbury’s.
Litter pickers, gloves and bin bags will be provided.
